“We heard great acts all afternoon and evening, all within easy walking distance of each other, and beer, food, and other refreshments were reasonably priced...Patrons were not confined to an all-too-restrictive ‘beer and wine garden’ as they often are at outdoor festivals, and they could walk to venues with beer in hand across four blocks along West Front Street. The festival was well promoted and drew more than a thousand people in the afternoon and evening.”

Fiddler Jay Ungar and guitarist-vocalist Molly Mason dovetail with Swingology, a mandolin-cornet-what-have-you quintet assembled at the couple's fiddle-and-dance camp in the Catskills.
Swingology morphs from string band to swing band, Cajun band to Celtic band, country band to Civil War-era dance orchestra!

Multi-instrumentalist Matt Turk and Grammy award winner C Lanzbom joined forces to form Deadgrass, a string band adventure through Jerry Garcia’s musical world. Bassist Dave Richards, banjo player Russell Gottlieb and fiddler Michael Barrett Donovan complete this fine group of seasoned pros exploring the life works of Jerry Garcia on the instruments that first inspired him.
